Soft wash house washing for Bucklands Beach homes, from Precise Property Services in Beachlands, just along the coast. We clean cladding, roofing and exterior surfaces with low pressure, so salt, grime and moss come off without stripping paint or damaging weatherboard.
Tell us about your property and we'll be in touch.
Right on the water, these properties take salt spray directly, especially anything facing the Tāmaki River or the marina. Cladding and glass pick up a fine salt film fast, and it's usually the first thing that shows if a wash gets skipped.
Set back and higher up toward the ridgeline, these properties get the same salt air but wind-driven rather than direct. It settles more slowly but still builds up, especially on north or east-facing walls that catch the prevailing wind off the gulf.
Whichever kind of Bucklands Beach property you've got, the result is the same, salt residue that dulls paint and cladding faster than an inland suburb ever sees. We quote based on which type your property actually is, not a generic coastal estimate.
We're based in Beachlands, a short run along the coast to Bucklands Beach. Howick sits just south of the peninsula, Eastern Beach continues on along the coastline, and Pakuranga is the nearest inland suburb, with Half Moon Bay Marina sitting right on the peninsula itself. If your property is anywhere on this stretch of coast, waterfront or elevated, we already know what the salt air does to it.
Every Bucklands Beach house wash follows the same walk-around, pre-treat, low-pressure rinse and final check process we use everywhere. See how a house wash works for the full breakdown.
The same 4-step soft wash process used on every job, whether it's a Bucklands Beach waterfront home or a Beachlands cottage.
Price comes down to the size of the house, the cladding, and how exposed the property is, which matters more here than most given how much salt air a peninsula property picks up compared with a single-coastline suburb. See what affects the price on our house washing page, or get a free quote based on your actual property.
Often, yes. Peninsula properties tend to pick up salt residue faster than a single-coastline suburb, so plenty of Bucklands Beach homes get washed more than the usual once-a-year guide, especially anything right on the waterfront.
Not the process itself, but it's worth mentioning if your property backs onto the marina or gets extra boat traffic nearby, since that can add a bit more grime on top of the usual salt film.
Yes. Bucklands Beach has a genuine mix, from older 1970s-era homes through to more recent builds, and we adjust pressure and method to suit whatever cladding your property actually has.
